Judd Lees

Judd Lees is a shareholder with SEBRIS BUSTO JAMES. He has been practicing labor and employment law since 1979. Judd represents both unionized and nonunionized employers in the private and public sector, including clients in the construction, manufacturing and transportation industries before federal and state agencies, including the Department of Labor, National Labor Relations Board and the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries.

Professional & Community Activities

Judd is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and Seattle-King County Bar Association and is admitted to the Western and Eastern District Courts of Washington, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fourth and Ninth Circuits as well as the U.S. Supreme Court. He is the past president of the Western Washington Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors and currently serves as their Chapter Labor Counsel. Judd is also Chapter Labor Counsel for the Inland Pacific Chapters of the Associated Builders and Contractors. Judd has served as a Trustee and Chair of the Legal Affairs Committee for the Associated General Contractors of Washington. He has served as President and Trustee for the Bellevue Schools Foundation, as well as the Bellevue Rotary.


Educational Background

Judd graduated cum laude from the University of Illinois with a B.A. and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He graduated from Boston University School of Law in 1979. Judd has been named a Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers magazine and has also been recognized by Seattle Met magazine as a “Top Lawyer” in Labor and Employment. His Martindale-Hubble rating is 5.0 out of 5 “AV Preeminent”—the highest peer-review rating available. He is a frequent lecturer and author on labor and employment issues.
