Mariya received her undergraduate degree in business from the University of Washington in 2012. She graduated magna cum laude from Seattle University School of Law in 2016.
Mariya’s legal experience includes internships with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the legal department of a Fortune 500 company, and representing clients in unemployment benefit appeal hearings. Before attending law school, Mariya worked as an office manager at a large medical practice. Mariya has a strong passion for misunderstood dog breeds and is an advocate for ending dog abuse and breed specific legislation.
